We didn’t win, but reaching the final was a victory for this project at an early stage in the technological development chain, and an important accolade for the Bio Bureau team, which sequenced and assembled three coral genomes in less than 18 months. A remarkable scientific achievement that makes a major contribution to further research into the control of the sun coral.
