Control of harmful species

manifesto-acreditamos-nova-2

Changing environmental conditions, due to land occupation and use, climate change or pollution, can lead to species becoming dominant, growing out of control and becoming pests.

Macrophytes in hydroelectric reservoirs are a good example. Cyanobacteria too. Both are natural organisms in these environments which, as a result of organic pollution, become dominant and can cause damage to the environment and the economy.
