At the Bio Bureau we remember how we dealt with problems in the past in order to face the real challenges. Armed with information, we assess levels of uncertainty in order to define levels of action. In the absence of this information, when the risk of not acting has immediate consequences for human life and the planet, we believe that the precautionary principle should not be used as a political strategy to avoid action.
